ON A MISSION TO SOLVE AMERICA’S
FINANCIAL CRISIS

I’ve spent more than 20 years creating business opportunities for underserved communities to overcome sociocultural barriers and build wealth.

My life’s mission is to bridge the wealth gap for underrepresented minorities.

The driving force behind my companies is to make it possible for millions of people, especially people of color and those of limited incomes, to have a clear path to financial stability, wealth and prosperity. Read my story.

BUILDING GENERATIONAL WEALTH

Unfortunately, too many people in the U.S. today lack financial security. Too many people are financially vulnerable. For people to pursue their full potential, we need more wealth – of opportunity, of tools, of financial assets – and we need that wealth to be more widespread.

We aspire to accomplish that by building a combination of innovative technology, in-depth research and proven solutions, all aimed at building wealth for those who need it most.

Empowering Entrepreneurs

The path to achieving financial health and, ultimately, financial independence starts with turning intentions into actions which requires the use of research-based strategies.

BEYOND FINANCIAL EDUCATION;
TRANSFORMING INTENTION INTO ACTION.

Many organizations have tried to address financial health by investing in financial education programs like Dave Ramsey. According to the CFPB, the U.S. spent more than $670 million in 2013 on financial education programs. The hope is that by teaching Americans the importance of savings, and how to save, Americans will in fact save.

However, recent research suggests that financial education alone is ineffective. People have a clear idea what they need to do to improve their financial situation. Yet, despite knowing what they should do, people are not financially secure.

In every company I build, we use social science to build and test financial interventions that can help struggling Americans make better financial decisions to transform their everyday habits and behaviors into intentional action.

“The racial wealth divide is the product of centuries of policies and practices that keep people of color from getting ahead.”
